I’ve run into this issue a couple of times now, so here is the solution. Well… at least it’s the solution that has worked for me each time.
If you’ve recently reboot your machine, or you’ve been using Laravel Valet for awhile, and suddenly you’re getting a “site not found” error, it most likely means some of your machine’s services have stopped running.
If you have homebrew installed (if you don’t, go to the homebrew website and install it) you can check to see which services have stopped working by typing
brew services list in the terminal. That command will return a list of services that are either “started”, or “stopped”.
If any of your services are “stopped”, type the command
brew services start -all. If you’re still getting an error try running
valet restart. Hopefully by this point you’re up and running again. If not, may God have mercy on your soul.
